About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Banking in Mckinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Communicate security-related concerns and observations to Allied Universal management and client representatives as appropriate.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site protocols, including coordinating with emergency personnel when needed.
  • Provide customer service by answering inquiries and directing individuals to the appropriate areas within the location.
