About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will welcome visitors, verify access, manage sign-ins, and monitor cameras and alarm panels while providing standout customer service. You will communicate clearly with staff and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork in a caring, people-first culture. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting employees, visitors, and contractors, answering inquiries, and directing individuals according to site-specific procedures.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals.
  • Monitor security-related systems and activity at the desk, including cameras and alarms as assigned, and report irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Complete security-related reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, visitor records, and communication logs, and support internal teams with administrative tasks as needed.
