As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, managing access, verifying credentials, and supporting badge and key control. You will monitor cameras and alarms, document activity, respond to requests, and help coordinate with on-site teams when security-related concerns arise. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access by managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests to the appropriate contact or area.
  • Monitor lobby activity and building entry points using security-related systems such as access control logs and/or camera views, and report unusual activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by procedures.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and key and/or credential tracking in accordance with site requirements.
