Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Stockton, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting daily security-related operations. You will help manage visitor check-ins, verify credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, answer questions with a customer-first approach, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government facility front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments as required, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor and report unusual activity near the lobby and entry points, assist with incident documentation, and communicate observations to onsite contacts and/or public agencies as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including relaying information, following post orders, and supporting evacuation or shelter instructions when directed.
  • Answer phones and route calls, provide directions and general information, and assist with administrative security-related tasks such as key control, badge tracking, and lost and found procedures per site policy.
