You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a welcoming presence, verifying credentials, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and/or employees at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
Carry out security-related procedures, following site-specific protocols for a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed to appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
