As a Front Desk Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting a smooth visitor experience while managing security-related access and front entrance activity. You will greet employees and guests, verify identification, maintain visitor logs, monitor cameras and alarms, and communicate concerns to site leadership. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control for a food and beverage location by greeting and screening visitors, issuing temporary badges, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing guests to approved destinations.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarm panels, and entry controls; report irregular activity and/or equipment concerns to site leadership per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling calls for assistance, documenting events, and escalating per site protocols.
• Support shipping and receiving traffic flow as needed by coordinating visitor check-in for deliveries and pickups, confirming authorization, and communicating with internal contacts.
