Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk Specialist in Camden, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a residential location, helping to create a welcoming environment while supporting security-related operations. You will monitor access, assist residents and visitors, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and staff, addressing questions and/or concerns as they arise.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific instructions.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.
