Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Receptionist in Santa Monica, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you manage access, monitor activity, and assist with inquiries. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the commercial real estate location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate professionally with building tenants, guests, and property management to address inquiries and/or concerns.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuation or other protocols when appropriate.
