As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring access, greeting visitors, and assisting with security-related inquiries. Your presence will help to deter incidents while providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk in a professional manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges as required.
  • Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns related to security-related procedures and policies.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all visitors and security-related incidents at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities according to site-specific procedures, remaining calm and problem-solving as situations arise.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders as needed.
