Your role involves monitoring entry points, assisting with inquiries, and supporting security-related protocols. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and/or visitor credentials as required by location policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Serve as a point of contact for information and assistance, directing individuals as needed within the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or visitor logs as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding any security-related concerns or unusual activities observed at the front desk.
