As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, verify access, manage badges and keys, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity. You will be a calm, professional presence who helps to reduce incidents through clear communication and attentive service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting guests, managing visitor check-in and/or badge issuance, directing foot traffic, and coordinating with property management for access requests.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, documenting irregular activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, dispatching assistance, and completing detailed incident reports.
  • Answer phones and radios, provide general information, accept deliveries and/or service tickets as directed, and maintain required logs and shift documentation for Allied Universal.
