As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, managing access control and/or badging, and monitoring activity from a fixed post. You will help support a professional environment through clear communication, timely reporting, and strong customer service. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, managing keys and/or access cards, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and building systems as assigned, document security-related activity, and communicate unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Complete required reports and logs, handle phone and radio communications, and coordinate with property management and/or first responders as needed.
