As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, assisting visitors and staff while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor access, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate professionally with everyone entering or exiting the premises. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access control and assist with visitor and employee check-in processes.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate with site personnel and/or Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
Support emergency response activities as needed, based on site-specific guidelines.
