Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
Verify identification and credentials for individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain accurate logs of visitor and employee movements and/or incidents as required by site policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries while carrying out security-related procedures.
Monitor surveillance equipment and/or alarms from the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or incidents.
