Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Lobby in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
  • Maintain detailed records of visitor logs, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information related to site access and policies.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment at the front desk area.
