As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and monitoring access to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, supporting access control procedures, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or guests in a professional manner at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with all personnel, providing customer service while addressing inquiries and/or concerns.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including alerting the proper authorities and assisting with evacuation procedures if needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
