As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access control systems and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of visitor activity, incidents, and security-related events.
Communicate professionally with all individuals at the location to address inquiries, provide information, and/or direct them as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including alerting emergency services and guiding people according to site procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to report and/or escalate security-related concerns or incidents.
