Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Clearance Required in Palm Bay, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming employees and visitors while supporting access control and visitor processing. You will monitor entry activity, manage badges and logs, answer questions with strong customer service, and communicate security-related concerns to the team. Requirements

  • Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
  • Control access by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing badges, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, communications, and other site systems as assigned, and report irregularities and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and shift activity reports, and support internal communications with client representatives and Allied Universal supervision.
