As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, helping manage access, greet guests, answer questions, and support a welcoming lobby experience. You will monitor activity from the desk, document incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols.
  • Control access to the property by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and key logs, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed reports and shift documentation, communicate handoff information to oncoming personnel, and support routine administrative tasks related to lobby operations.
