As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will greet tenants and visitors, manage access control and badging, and monitor activity from the lobby to help support a welcoming environment. You will handle phones, coordinate visitor logs and deliveries, and communicate concerns to the on-site team. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a front desk in a commercial real estate location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor lobby activity and available systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control panels, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
  • Complete daily reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications, and coordinate with property staff to support security-related operations and a positive tenant experience.
