Requirements

Must have 1 or more years of experience in a security-related role.
Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk, including greeting visitors and assisting with inquiries.
Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and managing visitor logs.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed and communicate with appropriate personnel as needed.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unwanted activity.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address concerns and provide information related to security-related matters.
