You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and support access control and visitor flow while delivering friendly customer service. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at gates, doors, and other entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, monitoring visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries and exits per site procedures.
• Complete reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate observations to supervision and/or client representatives according to post orders.
