As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Have 5 or more years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or local authorities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and/or access points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Control access by observing entry and exit activity, verifying visitor credentials when required, and/or directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate security-related updates during shift transitions.
