Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while offering outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires you to manage entry points, interact with visitors, and uphold the values of agility, reliability, and teamwork as you contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and guests.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical location.
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical settings.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and report any irregularities.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
- Collaborate with client personnel and first responders as needed during emergencies or unusual situations within the location.
- Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and follow all protocols relevant to chemical or petrochemical environments.
