As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols of yards, docks, and building areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support drivers, associates, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, dock doors, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Support logistics and distribution operations by monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation when required, and documenting gate activity.
• Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal management and onsite contacts.
