As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol production and warehouse areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badging, respond to questions with customer-focused communication, and document activities using a computer and/or tablet. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the manufacturing location, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, watching for conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Control access at designated entry points by monitoring gates and doors, checking identification and/or visitor logs, and directing deliveries and contractors to proper check-in areas according to site procedures.
  • Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, noting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations for follow-up.
