As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, operations, and/or campus areas, including exterior and perimeter checks, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken and notifying supervision and/or on-site contacts as needed.
• Complete detailed activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
