As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while acting with integrity through teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, logging visitors and/or contractors, and directing truck traffic according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as required by post orders.
• Document patrols, access activity, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
