As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist shoppers and associates with clear communication and service. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to calls for support. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and associates by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, back-of-house areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store management and public responders when needed.
• Monitor entrances, receiving areas, and other key points to help to control access, observe for policy violations, and/or assist with crowd and line management during peak periods.
• Complete accurate written reports and activity logs, document observations, and communicate notable issues promptly through the established chain of command.
