As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and store teams with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming environment through customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances and exits, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report observations promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and loss prevention support, including observing merchandise movement, documenting incidents, and completing required reports.
