You will conduct routine patrols and inspections, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to help identify concerns early. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, managing keys and badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit logs.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; report irregular activity and escalate per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
