As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth daily operations. You will communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points as assigned, verify authorization for access to controlled areas, and support visitor and contractor check-in and/or badge processes according to location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed, timely documentation of security-related activities, including patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, using required systems and/or forms.
