As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site personnel while supporting a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security experience is required.
• Being at least 21 or more years of age is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post, which is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, fire alarms, and disorderly conduct as directed by post orders.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift briefings and post transitions.
