As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas and complete routine foot patrols to help spot and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, support associates and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with site leaders. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, including interior areas, dock doors, parking lots, and perimeter points. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor check-in and/or verification in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete reports and documentation for incidents, inspections, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts as needed.
