As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. You will respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, document observations, and provide customer-focused communication. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or local emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building interior, lobby and customer areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, assisting with identification checks, entry protocols, and/or directing individuals to appropriate areas when requested.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activities, and unusual observations, and communicate updates during shift transitions per site requirements.
