As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist customers and staff with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting patrol coverage and response. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, stockroom areas as authorized, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor customer and associate activity for suspicious behavior and potential theft-related activity, and report observations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes, assisting with access issues, and documenting events per site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, irregularities, and incidents, and communicate key information during shift handoffs to support consistent coverage.
