As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to guest concerns with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, supporting mobile patrols and quick assistance across the property. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting law enforcement and/or medical responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter points to help to deter theft and/or disruptive activity.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access points when assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to on-site management and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate observations and follow-up needs during shift turnovers.
