As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a major financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe activity, document concerns, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry in lobby, office, and restricted back-of-house areas.
Respond to alarms, disputes, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior spaces and the exterior perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, and ATM-adjacent areas as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate observations, hazards, and policy issues to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
