You will complete routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. You will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to facility staff, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, gates, and designated checkpoints, verifying identification and/or shipment paperwork as required by post orders.
Complete detailed reports of patrols, inspections, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
