As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet customers and associates with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting store operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, as permitted by post orders and client needs.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential policy violations, and operational concerns, and help to reduce theft and other loss-related activity through high-visibility presence and reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store management and/or local emergency services as directed.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports and patrol logs, and communicate observations and service needs to supervisors and client representatives.
