As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting access control and responding to routine needs. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee traffic patterns, reporting suspicious or unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting local emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
