You will complete vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document observations, and respond to requests with strong customer service and clear communication. You will support a fast-moving workplace by using a computer or tablet while working with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and media workplace.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and delivery credentials per site procedures; assist with directing guests to the appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations during patrols, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
