You will help manage access, monitor cameras and alarm activity, support visitor check-in and badge processes, document security-related events, and communicate with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a healthcare front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing individuals to the appropriate department.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, handle inbound calls and inquiries, and communicate concerns to clinical staff and/or site leadership in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and initiating notifications per post orders.
  • Complete required logs and reports, document unusual activity, and relay shift updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or the incoming officer.
