As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate setting, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, greeting guests, managing access control and badges, and monitoring entry activity. You will use computer or tablet tools to document security-related incidents, communicate updates to site contacts, and support a welcoming, professional lobby experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations.
  • Monitor security-related systems and building communications from the front desk, including cameras, alarms, radios, phones, and/or intercoms, and report unusual activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, notifying property management and/or emergency services, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed shift documentation such as incident reports, activity logs, and key control records, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
