As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will support access control at key entry points, check credentials, manage visitor and vehicle logs, and monitor activity to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities while supporting security-related access control at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control entry and exit at gates, doors, and/or loading areas by verifying identification, credentials, and visitor or driver purpose, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Monitor and document vehicle traffic, deliveries, and shipping and receiving activity, including logging visitors, contractors, and/or freight drivers per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with communication, reporting, and coordination per site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or procedural concerns.
