Requirements

  • Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
  • Be 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and vendor logs.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels from the front desk, and report irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
  • Complete required documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and written pass-downs, and communicate pertinent updates to oncoming personnel and Allied Universal management.
