As a Dispatch Officer at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, you will coordinate security-related communications, track activity, and support officers in the field with timely updates. You will help monitor assigned areas, assist with routine patrol coordination, and provide professional customer service for site personnel and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Dispatch and coordinate security-related personnel via radio, phone, and/or other communication systems, prioritizing calls for service and documenting actions taken.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; receive reports of unusual activity; and notify appropriate contacts based on post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite management and external responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
