As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will be a helpful point of contact for employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will thrive in an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 6+ Months
  • Guard Card/License - preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, loading docks, parking areas, and building perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and key areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, confirm visitor and contractor authorization per site procedures, and direct personnel to appropriate check-in locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disputes, medical events, and suspicious activity, and request assistance as needed.
  • Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate notable conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas.
