As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors with strong customer service, respond to calls for assistance, and document observations using a computer or tablet. Requirements

• Have Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as Portable Toilets and Rustic Guard Shack.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify credentials as required by post orders, and direct individuals to appropriate locations while supporting a professional lobby and property presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken per site instructions.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support security-related awareness for property staff.
