As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations using a computer or tablet, and support tenants and visitors with professional customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and building systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, emergency response activities, and coordination with property management and/or first responders as needed.
• Complete routine reports and detailed incident documentation, including patrol logs, access records, and shift handoff communications.
